Transfer AWS Elastic IP From One Account to Another

Request transfer in Source Account

  1. Open AWS EC2 console in source account https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/home
  2. Click Network & Security -> Elastic IPs
  3. Select the required IP
  4. Click Actions -> Enable Transfers
  5. Enter the target account id
  6. Click Submit

Accept transfer in Target Account

  1. Open AWS EC2 console in source account https://console.aws.amazon.com/ec2/home
  2. Click Network & Security -> Elastic IPs
  3. Click Actions -> Accept Transfers
  4. Enter the elastic IP address (which needs to be transferred to this account)
  5. Click Submit
